A Dayton transplant from Austin, TX, via Florida and New York, Eva became Executive Director of DVAC in December 2011. Most recently she served as the first executive director of FilmDayton for the past two years, where she promoted Dayton and it’s filmmakers as a resource for the industry through fundraising and marketing -- including the presentation of the popular annual FilmDayton Festival -- and doubled its operating budget.
Previously, she served as director of exhibitions and education at the Austin Museum of Art (AMOA) for eight years where she developed the Museum’s lively, experimental and accessible programmatic identity. ... More

Gallery Manager

Patrick, a native of Wapakoneta, is a graduate of Wright State University and has his M.F.A from the University of Cincinnati. He has taught drawing and printmaking at the University of Dayton, Wright State University, Dayton Art Institute, Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati. An accomplished printmaker, he is a member of the Dayton Printmakers Cooperative and lives in the city of Dayton. He has worked with DVAC since 2004 and is in charge of DVAC’s volunteer program, working with Artist Representatives to implement programming for members, overseeing programming related to specific exhibitions, acting as preparator for the gallery, and taking the lead role in DVAC’s ARTtoBUY program.

Janelle Young
Office Manager

Hired in January 2008 on a contract basis and in a full time capacity since July 2008, Janelle is responsible for day-to-day financial record-keeping, publication production, database maintenance, DVAC Web site updating, photographic documentation and working with student interns. She came to DVAC as a volunteer in the summer of 2007. Janelle grew up in Huber Heights and completed bachelor’s of fine art degree in photography at the University of Dayton in 2006. She is a member of the Dayton Printmakers Cooperative.
